First magnetically coupled pump for hermetic sealing

hyco Vakuumtechnik from Krailling presents the first magnetically coupled pump for hermetic sealing.

The PB-42 2-cylinder diaphragm linear pump is used especially for the conveyance of very rare and thus expensive gases such as Helium-3. The diaphragm coupling drive ensures contactless conveyance as mechanical conveyance is completely dispensed with. The pump is hermetically sealed and runs more quietly. There are no losses with a diaphragm barrier as there is no escaping product recorded with this design.

Hyco Vakuumtechnik offers the diaphragm coupled pump in 6 different models with different performance data. This enables a suction capability from 8.5 to 65 l/min and a final pressure from 7 to 150 mbar to be achieved.

The pump has a weight of 15 kg and is medium sized with dimensions of L x W x H: 406.5 x 175 x 210 mm.
